How To Make Mexican Shredded Chuck Roast

Ingredients
- 2 lbs chuck roast
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 lime, juiced
- Tortillas and toppings (such as salsa, avocado, and cilantro) for serving
Instructions

In a slow cooker, place the chuck roast, onion, garlic, chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, salt, and black pepper.

Pour the beef broth over the roast.

Cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours, until the meat is tender and easily shreds with a fork.

Once cooked, remove the chuck roast from the slow cooker and shred the meat using two forks.
